Prescription Refills 

​Please address refill requests at your scheduled appointment to allow for discussion of any changes which may be indicated and to assure adequate supplies in between appointments.  Refill requests from pharmacies or other third parties will not be processed in the absence of a direct request from you.  Call or preferably email your refill requests directly to [email protected].  Administrative charges may be applied for urgent and time intensive prescription processing services including prior authorization requests from insurance carriers.  As part of quality control, my office may use resources including the North Carolina Controlled Substance Reporting Database to monitor use of scheduled prescriptions. 

Please provide information needed to process your request including name, date of birth, dosage of the medication and your pharmacy phone number.  Allow 3 business days for processing of these requests.  

Insurance Coverage

I am not contracted with any health insurance plans or managed care companies.  I will provide an itemized receipt you can submit to your insurance company for direct reimbursement.  Most insurance plans cover some portion of providers fees who are not contracted to participate in their networks, though this can vary significantly.  We will assist with insurance questions and billing matters as able and advise contacting your carrier or benefits brochure for the most up to date information.  I am not a Medicare provider and a completed private contract agreement is required for me to treat Medicare patients.  ​
